with the Sassoon Technique – SAEK Gianneri**
The basic training at the SAEK Gianneri hairdressing school is aimed at both complete beginners who want to learn women’s haircuts correctly from the beginning, as well as professional hairdressers who wish to retrain, improve their technique and gain a solid foundation according to international standards.
The fast-paced courses are a complete, modern and fully targeted training for those who want to reach a truly professional level.
The studies are recognized by the Ministry of Education / EOPPEP.

Why the Sassoon technique?
The Sassoon technique is the basis of modern hairdressing and is based on the philosophy of geometric shapes – triangle, square, round.
With this method the student learns:
- to see the haircut as an architectural structure,
- to build shape and volume with precision,
- to combine technique and creativity.
The correct understanding of shapes and techniques (Line, Graduation, Layers) gives the hairdresser the ability to create any haircut, for women or men, with professional results.
As we say in school:
The artist follows trends – but also creates his own, through experiences and stimuli.
Training Methodology
Students are trained gradually, with constant guidance from experienced instructors and extensive practice on dolls and live models.
Our goal is for the student to:
- understands the philosophy of cutting,
- knows how to start and finish each haircut,
He works not “empirically”, but professionally, with confidence and technical consistency.
Theory
- Theory of geometric shapes: Triangle, Square, Circle
- Theory of techniques:Line – Graduation – Layers
- Structure & silhouette analysis
- Differences in "shape" & "technique"
- Introduction to Disconnection techniques
- Theoretical lessons and presentations
Practice
- Bob/Carves in all lengths (triangle, square, round)
- Long commercial haircuts with layering
- Short commercial women's haircuts
- Bangs cutting techniques
- Finishing Techniques: Point Cutting, Slice Cutting
- Combination techniques & special applications
- Practice on dolls and live models
- Live demonstrations by instructors
The School's Philosophy
The Gianneri SAEK school emphasizes a fundamental understanding of techniques and shapes, enabling the student to:

Our training replaces the word “experiential” with the word “professional.”
Class Dates and Schedule
Classes are held:
Monday to Thursday – 4 hours daily
with a total duration of 2, 4, 6 or 9 months, depending on the needs and level of the student.
