George Gianneris
Founder of Gianneri Academy
The founder of Gianneri Academy School of Hair & Cosmetology is George Gianneris, a professional hairdresser since 1974. He started in his hometown of Drama and then came to Thessaloniki, where his talent and restless nature soon set him apart from his colleagues.
In 1978, he opened his first store in the center of Thessaloniki and quickly managed to gain the highest position in the market. Active and pioneering, he created a chain of stores under his name and became a protagonist in the events of the hairdressing art.
Throughout his professional career and to this day, he participates in conferences to keep up to date with new fashion trends, while at regular intervals he undergoes further training in major hairdressing centers abroad.
Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy and Alan International are some of the names that influenced him and shaped his particular educational perspective on Hairdressing.
Lilian Gianneri
Founder of Gianneri Academy
In 1992, he created with his wife Lilian Gianneri the Gianneri Academy, a modern and fully equipped educational center where comprehensive basic training in Hairdressing – Aesthetics – Nail Art is offered, as well as Postgraduate Training for Professional Hairdressers.
At the Academy’s educational centers, students have the opportunity to utilize their talent and improve their skills with new techniques and knowledge necessary for their professional development.
Lilian Gianneri manages the company’s marketing and finance department, as well as the School’s Career Office, with the aim of promoting graduates in the job market.
Olga Gianneri
Creative Director / Cutting & Barber Instructor
The new generation of the Gianneri school, began her first steps in hairdressing from a very young age with her father, and eventually decided to follow it professionally.
Combining her studies in economics and administration at the University of Cyprus with hairdressing, she attends seminars every year at the Vidal Sassoon school in London and especially in the ABC Cut, Salon Creative Cut & Color and Disconnection departments, specialized in haircuts and further education.

Vasilios Koukounitsas
Cutting Instructor
A graduate of the women’s and men’s hairdressing departments of the school and having completed his studies in the postgraduate department, his great love and passion for haircuts and the precision of cutting led him, after various specialization seminars, to become part of the Gianneri Academy team without, of course, ceasing to evolve.
Pasxalitsa Mpozatzi
Hairstyling & Color Instructor
With a solid professional career in the field, from her first steps in the salons of Xanthi to the creation of her own hair salon, she continues to evolve and share her love for beauty and education. At the same time, she has distinguished herself in Panhellenic and Balkan competitions and has specialized knowledge in modern hairdressing techniques on chroma and bridal hairstyles, she constantly attends seminars from leading hairdressers.
Pasxalia Anastasopoulou
Nail Instructor
She has been active in the field of nail art and upper and lower limb care for the last 16 years. She has worked in numerous stores, while also maintaining her own space, gaining valuable experience in both the provision of services and education. She specializes in cosmetic and therapeutic (non-medical) pedicures as well as artificial nails.
She has participated in numerous seminars regarding airbrushing, basic nail art, acrylic, and salon shape gel, constantly delving into the techniques and trends of the profession.
With a love for aesthetics and the goal of providing the right information and excellent service, Paschalia actively contributes to the development and upgrading of the beauty industry.
Eirini Terzoglou
Specialized Podologist & Instructor
Irene Terzoglou is a Podiatry and Basic Aesthetics Technician, a certified massage and alternative therapy professional. She is active as a trainer and collaborates with the National Beach Volley Team as an alternative therapist. With expertise in techniques such as Swedish, holistic, reflexology, iridology, shiatsu and kobido, she passionately transmits her knowledge, promoting the holistic approach to health and wellness.
Anna Intze
Hairstyling & Color Instructor
With experience dating back to 2000, Anna has dedicated her career to the art of hairdressing, specializing in hair coloring and chroma. Her love for continuous development has led her to attend specialized seminars from leading brands such as Wella, Goldwell and Moroccanoil, constantly evolving her techniques and creativity.
Alexandra Stavrakaki
Nail Instructor
Alexandra Stavrakaki is head of the Nail Surgery Department at SOLO PRO, with many years of experience and specialization in Nail Surgery and Podiatry, working professionally since 2016.
